In my fourth consecutive year, I witnessed a landmark transformation: the restoration of the Ermita Church to its original murals. Studying with Maestro Izquierdo, Elina Checkan, Ignacio Barcia, Cyro  and performing within these thousand-year-old walls offered a profound connection to the past, where every note resonated with centuries of history.

An incredible residency in Charlevoix, Quebec, blending the magic of the Canadian landscape with the precision of the guitar. Highlights included performing in concert, intensive masterclasses with Thibaut García, Judicaël Perroy, and Maestro René Izquierdo, and a dynamic ensemble collaboration under Patrick Roux.

Exploring the profound beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this journey led to the serene forests outside of Tuzla. Immersed in the region’s rich history and the spiritual resonance of its Orthodox churches, I had the privilege of studying with masters Dejan Ivanović, Boris Tešić, Predrag Stanković, and Belmin Okanović. Milton joined the Escuela Especializada Libre de Música de Caguas shortly before the pandemic, studying Guitar under Renaldo Guadalupe and Piano with Brunilda Sosa. In 2021, he began advanced guitar studies with Kristian Pérez McDougall. After winning First Prize in his debut competition in School in 2021 (youngest ever, with 7yrs), Milton two years later become the youngest ever student (9 yrs) to win the APAOSS competition of all 6 Schools in the country  for all instrument.  Milton became a frequent Soloist with the School Rondalla, the School Symphony Orchestra, and the School Intermediate Choir. His burgeoning career reached a milestone in the summer of 2025, when he toured Europe as a featured Soloist with the School Antonio Paoli Orchestra. His performances of Rodrigo’s Adagio from the Concierto de Aranjuez and Morricone’s The Mission earned him consistent standing ovations across the continent.

Federico Sheppard has reached a new pinnacle in his research by collaborating with Hector Barrios, the composer's grandson. This partnership moves beyond historical documents and into the realm of family memory.​ What a joy performing for the pilgrims and residents of Palencia. Returning for a second year to this sacred region north of Madrid, I performed for pilgrims journeying along the historic Camino de Santiago. Under the guidance of Maestro René Izquierdo, Elina Chekan, Ignacio Barcia, Dale Kavanagh & Jeffrey McFadden my technical craft reached new heights. The experience was deepened by the scholarly insights of Federico Sheppard, whose lectures on the legendary Agustín Barrios brought a historical soul to the music.

At just eight years old, my path was forever changed at my first guitar festival in Carrión de los Condes, Spain. I am eternally grateful to Maestro René Izquierdo and Elina Chekan for welcoming me as the youngest participant in the festival's history. Studied also with Ignacio Barcia, Andrew Zohn and tt was here that I met Professor Richard Wright, who extended an immediate invitation to the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School. Though my parents wisely waited until I was eleven to let me fly, that moment in Spain remains the true beginning of my artistic awakening."

Milton begins his formal Musical Journey in 2018-2020 studying guitar with Hector Vazquez and Music Appreciation. In here Milton plays his first two recitals.
