National Puerto Rican Day Parade
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, it is our distinct
privilege to invite you to participate as this Year’s Rising Star at our 69th Annual celebration.
This recognition acknowledges your exceptional achievements as a Classical Guitarist and
Pianist, along with your recent acceptance into the Menuhin School in London. We look
forward to highlighting your contributions during this year’s procession.
The 2026 National Puerto Rican Day Parade will be held on Sunday, June 14th, commencing at
11:00 AM along New York City’s historic Fifth Avenue. We proudly embrace the theme “Un
Pueblo, Muchas Voces” as we continue to showcase the accomplishments of our community.
The event will be broadcast live on ABC7 New York and TeleOnce in Puerto Rico, and will also
be available via online stream.
Reflecting on the Honor

It is a profound honor to be recognized as the 2026 Rising Star of this year’s National Puerto Rican Day Parade. This distinction holds deep meaning for me, not only as a musician, but as a proud son of Puerto Rico.
As I join a small group of young musicians from around the World at the Yehudi Menuhin School in London, I carry with me the spirit of our island and the “Muchas Voces” (Many Voices) that define our people—voices of resilience, passion, and cultural pride.
Being the first Puerto Rican and the first Latin American accepted into this prestigious institution is both a privilege and a responsibility I embrace with humility. I am committed to honoring my heritage in every note I play.
To represent Puerto Rico on Fifth Avenue in New York City and in London—two of the World’s great Cultural Stages—is truly a dream come true. I am deeply grateful to the Board of Directors for this recognition and the opportunity to celebrate our culture through music. Above all, I give thanks to God for His infinite grace and blessings, which continue to guide my journey.
