The Inspiration Behind the Student
In the world of strings, transformation is not an accident; it is a process of heat, pressure, and time. Throughout my musical development, I have been guided by many masters, including Marisol Rampolla, Hector Vazquez, Renaldo Guadalupe, Kristian Perez McDougall, Edel Muñoz, Carlos Rodriguez-Quiros and Ivan Rijos. My journey has taken me across the globe learning from extraordinary Guitarrist: from Camino Artes in Carrión de los Condes, Spain, learning from Elina Chekan, Ignacio Barcia, Jeffrey McFadden, Dale Kavanagh, Denis Azabagic, Alfonso Aguirre, Kevin Loh, Andrew Zohn, and Cyro; to Domaine Forget, with Judicaël Perroy and Thibaut Garcia; and to Tuzla, where I studied under Dejan Ivanović, Predrag Stanković, Boris Tešić, and Belmin Okanović. However, Maestro René Izquierdo has been the Alchemist of my Artistry—the Visionary who took the raw elements of my playing and carefully refined them, revealing the golden promise that now defines my journey. It was through René that I met my current teacher, Maestro Richard Wright, at the Yehudi Menuhin School in London. This pivotal connection began when I was just eight years old, when René invited me to participate in the Camino Artes Festival and specifically asked Richard Wright to join the faculty so that we could meet. René is not only a Virtuoso performer and an incredible teacher but, most importantly, a beautiful human being. His influence transcends the technicalities of the instrument, leaving an indelible mark on both my music and my character.
The Path of Discovery
Intuition. Discovery. Progress
"Throughout my career teaching thousands of students worldwide, I have rarely encountered a young musician with such profound musical intuition and emotional depth. Milton’s sensitivity in performance is a rare and innate gift—one that cannot be taught. He is a diamond in the rough with limitless potential."
René Izquierdo
